Founded in 2009, Monsson Trading is part of the Monsson Group, the team experienced in developing 1000 MW, 34% of Romania's total installed capacity, in the technology of electricity production from wind sources.

History

  • Monsson Trading has obtained the energy and supply license in April 2011, and the license for energy trading in Hungary, in February 2012.
  • In 2015, the natural gas supply license completed Monsson Trading's portfolio of competence.

Vision

We want to become a regional player in Southeast Europe, a European player, present on the markets that offers us opportunities to increase volumes.

Being flexible and adaptable to changes in energy markets, we were able to find innovative solutions, especially in niches that other traditional players have failed to excel at.

Managing Director
He ensures the smooth functioning of the company's departments. He has extensive experience in economics and renewable energy field, holding management positions in other companies of the Monsson group. He holds a degree in industrial engineering and management from Linköping University - Sweden.

Loredana Badea

Head of Origination
Loredana Badea is a finance and business development professional with over 15 years of experience within international banking institutions, including Garanti BBVA and UniCredit Bank Romania. Throughout her career, she has specialized in corporate structured financing and contributed to the financing of renewable energy projects, gaining valuable insight into the energy sector. Since joining Monsson Trading in 2024 as Head of Origination, she has been focused on building strategic partnerships and supporting long-term growth in the energy market.
